Victoria Dryden, American Society of Interior Designers

Formerly Dryden Design, LLC, Victoria Dryden, ASID, and Dryden Design, specialize in both functional and beautiful design. Victoria has worked on numerous projects ranging from the kitchen design for a small New York apartment to project management of the interior restoration of a two hundred year old Connecticut farmhouse including all interior detailing, from finishes and trim down to the final throw pillow. Victoria holds a professional degree in Interior Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design and also has experience and training in furniture design, product design, and set design. She also practices Feng Shui space clearing for select clients.

Victoria has worked with clients throughout the east coast. She has had the delightful opportunity to work on The Learning Channel’s Trading Spaces as both designer assistant and seamster. She created the interior design for a newly constructed 4300 s.f. summer house in the mountains of Highlands, North Carolina. While the majority of projects are residential, she also has experience in Commercial Design & Hospitality Design. Victoria did the lighting and interior finish details for the restoration of the historic Hammond Mansion at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Waterford, Connecticut. Dryden Design participated in a designer show house to benefit the Children’s Museum of Southeastern Connecticut. Victoria transformed the master bedroom into a beautiful, peaceful and deeply sensuous environment. Dryden Design refurbished ten rooms in a quaint Inn on the Connecticut coast to accentuate both Old New England and the sea.

Dryden Design excels in home renovations and additions. Projects have ranged from a massage studio/spa addition to a residence to the transformation of a 1990’s ranch-style home into a farmhouse with a summer porch and barn/garage. Victoria routinely works with contractors, supplying drawings and, in many cases, full project management to the completion of the project.

Whether it is a single consultation or a long-term implementation of a plan, Victoria Dryden, ASID, has a thoughtful, intelligent and creative approach to design.

With Victoria, each project is an exciting collaborative process between the client and designer that culminates in an environment that is perfectly functional and uniquely beautiful.
