ABOUT DRYDEN DESIGN

Dryden Design, LLC is led by Victoria Dryden, American Society of Interior Designers.  Victoria has worked on numerous projects ranging from the the kitchen design of a small New York City apartment to project management of the interior restoration of a 200 year old Connecticut farmhouse.  Victoria holds a professional degree in Interior Architecture from Rhode Island School of Design and also has experience in furniture design, product design and set design.  She practices Feng Shui space clearing.

Dryden Design has worked with clients throughout the east coast.  Spring 2005 brought Victoria the delightful opportunity to work on The Learning Channel's Trading Spaces as both designer assistant and seamstress.  She has created the interior design of a newly constructed 4300 s.f. cedar home in the mountains of North Carolina.  The firm also has experience in Hospitality Design.  A recent project was the refurbishing of ten rooms in a small New England Inn.  In early 2003, Victoria did the lighting and interior finish details for the restoration of the the historic Hammond Mansion at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford, Connecticut.  Dryden Design  participated in a Designer Showhouse to benefit the Children's Museum of Southeastern Connecticut.  Victoria transformed the master bedroom into a beautiful, peaceful and deeply sensuous environment.

Dryden Design excels in home renovations and additions.  Projects have ranged from a massage studio/spa addition to a residence to the transformation of a 1990's ranch-style home into a farmhouse with a summer porch and barn/garage.  Victoria routinely works with contractors, supplying drawings and, in some cases, full project management.

Whether it is a single consultation or a long-term implementation of a plan, Dryden Design has a thoughtful, intelligent and creative approach to design.
